ALY produces beautiful, high-performance, web panoramas using the Blender Cycles renderer, running in a Tekton-based Kubernetes environment, built on the bedrock of Debian Linux. Our solution uses Cycles to render each of the cameras in your Blender file but doesn’t just render a single, large, equirectangular image. The ALY system breaks the rendering up into hierarchical, multi-resolution tiles so that files load quickly, even on mobile devices. All of the complexity of managing that setup is handled automatically–from the conversion to syncing to CDN to configuring the Javascript.
